Beginning in 2004, after noticing how many great beers came from our four local breweries here in Humboldt County, I began to carefully taste test them, and post my ratings on the two major Internet rating sites; www.ratebeer.com and www.beeradvocate.com. Soon I was comparing beers from all over the world. I became fascinated at the phenomenon of craft brewing and decided to share my hobby of beer rating with others via this web site. More recently I have started getting even more active in beer rating, and my total ratings are now approaching 1,400.
